Philipians 1:21-24

21 For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
22 If I am to live in the flesh, that means fruitful labor for me. Yet which I shall choose I cannot tell.
23 I am hard pressed between the two. My desire is to depart and be with Christ, for that is far better.
24 But to remain in the flesh is more necessary on your account.

On my journey to finish reading the Bible, starting with the New Testament, I've been introduced to the apostle's Paul's journey from a non-believer to someone who gives whole-heartedly to our Lord's ministry. I am amazed and strengthened by his testimony, and know that the God I worship is the same God who has changed this man, a known persecutor of the church. And I know my God will be with me, as He was with Paul.

The past few weeks has been nothing short of crap. I noticed that these things always happen right before I am supposed to serve in the ministry, especially as a pianist.

I see your motives, Satan, and I raise you my God. Holy, holy, holy is my true Lord God Almighty. I shall fear not your advances, for the battle's already been won.

Though the spiritual warfare on this Earth is difficult and tiresome, on His account, I will press on till the day He receives me back into His heavenly arms. Till then I will continue to fight for His kingdom. May God keep me, uphold me, and strengthen me.
