The Safehouse

We are losing our own personal identity because we are too conforming. We are often pressurised by certain ideals held by the society, and we follow them obediently. This makes us no different from a zombie.

This project aims to encourage Singaporeans to break free from boundaries that may hinder their ability to express themselves, especially creatively. 

It will utilise the metaphor of the walking dead to create a “Safehouse” Cafe to “protect” Singaporeans from getting infected (losing identity).

The project will parody the idea of an instruction manual, to create irony in the creative approach of the design items. It will also attempt to break norms so as to further encourage the target audience.
