At the end of the day, I guess the ultimate goal is world peace. But then again, what is your definition of peace? How sure are you that your idea of peace is in line with the rest of the world? Why are we so arrogant to assume that we, human beings, holds the answer to peace in the world?
(Sorry, late night thoughts)
(Also, religious thoughts)
Being a Christian myself, I know with a 100% certainty that the answer to peace lies not with man, nor Christians, but with God.
Of course, also being a Christian, I guess my understanding of peace may also differ from the secular interpretation. However, my faith in the one and only God also leads me to believe that this understanding of "Christian peace" is the important one to strive for. Why? Because I did not decide it. I, of mere mortal status, with a human brain that is SO limited, could not possibly derive and understand the meaning of peace. I believe it because my God, the one and only creator of humankind, decrees it.
Amidst all the unhappiness and unrighteousness that is going on in the world, I'm glad that I have found peace in Jesus, my saviour. And I truly can't wait for his second coming to this world, where evil and unrighteousness will find their rightful place in the fiery pits of hell
"...Jesus himself stood among them, and said to them, “Peace to you!”" - Luke 24:36

There is no peace on earth, but peace in Him.
John14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.
